Psychadelik Pedestrian returns with two brand new downtempo tracks today, his first since the Transient LP. The first, Cosmos, begins with tingling arpeggio synth patterns and slowly builds to a crescendo, finishing with a rhythmic, reverberating drum pattern. Pacific is a downtempo instrumental track built around soaring pads in a similar style to previous chillout favourites Night Beach and Coral Reef. Both tracks are available from the release page here.
Toucan Music presents two full length tracks in this Redmann release. Redmann presents a new pumping house track Fearsome with infectious, building pads, piano chords and a stuttering, rhythmic and slightly eerie lead synth. The Aerologic remix of Plastic Explosive builds up with the original arpeggio riff and breaks down into a driving electro house anthem with stuttering chords, glitchy bass and a stompy beat. Both tracks are available in DJ friendly MP3 format here.
Toucan is now on YouTube. We’ll be posting some of our best tracks here on our page, and also some exclusive previews of new releases.

Aerologic presents two new tracks in this release, out today. Close Encounters is a spaced out fusion of house and progressive trance with wobbling synth riffs layered on top of bouncy house rhythms, sizzling bass and glitchy alien sounds. iFunk is a progressive house cut with funky synthesized bass, warm synth chord patterns and rising arpeggio effects. Both tracks are full length, unmixed versions. More information available here…
The stats are in and this time around Redmann has blown away the competition and taken four of the top five places in the 2011 Download Chart, with his chillout remix of Plasma in pole position. A surprise third place goes to Redmann’s 2007 track Born Into It, which never featured in the chart first time around but received additional promotion in 2011 after featuring in Alex Cherney’s Ocean Sky Timelapse video.
Psychadelik Pedestrian takes the second place slot with Tears In My Heart, and surprisingly secures several other places with tracks from his 2008 album, which proved a popular download choice last year. Thanks to everyone who supported Toucan Music and downloaded our tracks last year – please come back in 2012 and find out what is coming in the new year…
