Marc Burt's original version of Lies is a bouncy yet haunting progressive trance cut, with warm synths and some sampled glockenspiel action; perfect for both the dancefloor and also the mp3 player. The Beat Doctor mix retains the catchy tune and adds sweeping sidechained pads, reversed synth sounds and a deep bassline. Both mixes are DJ friendly full length versions, ideal for mixing into your set.
Redmann's funky vocoder house tune So Sublime gets the remix treatment in this bumper release pack. Andrew Redmann Amery is on the case himself in the first remix with a harder, darker take on the original. Other mixes are from JMD, with a reverb-heavy melodic trance workout, Phish Funk revive Dave Kent's funky house remix of the original and Psychadelik Pedestrian with an experimental old skool breakbeat mix.
Beat Doctor presents a funky slice of synth-driven progressive house, with bouncy throbbing house beats, deep simmering bass and large, distorted synth sounds. The two different mixes use slightly different beats and sounds while retaining a similar tune and feel.
JMD returns with three brand new melodic trance tracks fresh for 2006. Airstrike builds with rippling arpeggios and warm soaring synth pads before breaking down to an anthemic tune. Slider also features a catchy melodic tune, this time with sizzling filtered and slightly distorted synth sounds. Nuclear Sunset features euphoric synth chords riffs, building towards a huge reverberating climax.
