This release features two feature length house tracks from Phish Funk, their first new material since 2008. The Squelch combines the acid sound of the tweaking Roland TB-303 with Phish Funk's trademark funky house vibe, featuring driving dancefloor beats and bouncy slap bass. Lava Lamp is a more laid-back funky house track, with chilled rhodes piano and phased pads backing the trademark Phish Funk scratchy guitar and strings. Both tracks are free to download in full length, high quality, DJ friendly mp3 format and are released under a Creative Commons licence for you to re-use in your DJ sets or podcasts.
